Commodore Rejard Marfe, Commander of the Coast Guard District Southeastern Mindanao, emphasized the importance of heightened vigilance during this peak travel period. “This is a peak period for passenger travel, and it is our duty to ensure that the maritime domain remains safe and secure. The deployment of BRP Malamawi is a testament to our commitment to safeguarding lives and promoting maritime safety,” he stated.
