MANILA— Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) is canceling its flights between the Philippines and South Korea from March 3 to April 30.

Since February 26, the Philippine government has been implementing travel restrictions for passengers from North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, including Daegu City and Cheongdo County, and also banned Filipino tourists from traveling to any part of South Korea, including Jeju Island.

CEB will be canceling its flights between Incheon, South Korea, and Manila, Cebu, and Kalibo.

Affected passengers may rebook their flights until June 30, get a full refund, or save their ticket value in a travel fund. Rebooking for a February 29 to March 2 flight would be subject to seat availability, it said.

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said no other carrier issued an advisory on PH-Korea flight cancelations.

On Saturday, only AirAsia’s Z2 884/885 Manila-Incheon-Manila flights were canceled, based on MIAA’s record.

There are six carriers that operate between Incheon and Manila. These are CEB, AirAsia, Philippine Airlines, Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, and Jeju Air. -PNA
