Cebu mayor gi-imbestigar mga estudyanteng nagpositibo nga nakauli sa Maguindanao

CEBU CITY — Gustong mahibaw-an ni Mayor Edgardo Labella nganong nakapauli ang 12 ka estudyante sa Maguindanao nga wala moagi og testing para coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Gisugo ni Labella ang pag-imbestigadar niini human mitaho ang Department of Health nga ang mga estudyante nagpositibo sa virus pag-abot sa ilang probinsiya.

Ang mga estudyante nga nahatagan og “certificate to travel” giingong gipalarga paingon sa Cagayan de Oro City, kung diin sila gikuha para ihatod pauli sa Maguindanao.

Wala magpakita og mga sintomas ang mga estudyante, apan wala sila tugoti nga makapauli sa ilang mga balay ug hinuon gidala sa usa ka isolation facility duol sa Maguindanao Provincial Hospital.

Si Cebu City spokesperson Rey Gealon nag-ingon nga, human nila nadawat ang maong balita, gipasusi dayon sa mayor nganong wala moagi og tests ang mga estudyante.

Gipatin-aw usab ni Gealon nga ang lokal nga kagamhanan wala magpabaya sa ilang mga trabaho.

“Atong klarohon nga ang Cebu City nagsubay gyud sa reglamento sa Inter-Agency Task Force. Ang pagbiyahe sa mga estudyante man, o kinsa tong gitugutan mobiyahe, kinahanglan mo-comply sa mga rekisitos,” pasabot ni Gealon kagahapon Miyerkules, Mayo 27, 2020.

Usa sa mga rekisitos alang sa mobiyahe, matud pa ni Galeon, ang pagpaubos sa testing ug pagkumpleto sa 14 ka adlaw nga kwarentina.

Dugang pa niya nga kinahanglan usab ang “entry clearance” sa lugar nga modawat sa pasahero usa pa nila ihatag ang certificate to travel ug ang “exit clearance” sa mobiyahe.

Ang lokal nga kagamhanan kasamtangan nang nakig-alayon sa mga opisyales sa Maguindanao para sa pagtino kung asa sila nagpuyo dinhi sa Cebu City ug kung sa unsang paagi sila natakdan sa virus.

“Siyempre, ato usab i-verify ang mga identity sa mga estudyante ug tinuod ba nga gikan gyud sila sa Cebu City o positibo ba gyud sila sa virus,” saysay ni Gealon. (LBG)
