Coast Guard Zamboanga Sibugay saves 13 fishermen

DAVAO CITY – Thirteen fishermen were rescued by the personnel of Philippine Coast Guard Zamboanga Sibugay station off Olutanga, Zamboanga Sibugay Province on Monday.

The Coast guard reported that the fishing vessel of the fishermen were rough sailing the vicinity waters off Olutanga, and called for help.

The Coast Guard immediately dispatched the  search and rescue team of Olutanga hurdling the dark night and rough seas to ensure the safety and security of the distressed vessel and its crew.

At about 10pm,  FB JAK and all its crew were rescued and the vessel was towed towards Olutanga Port.
