Davao City Gov’t sets up food stalls for 9-day for dawn mass

DAVAO CITY — For dawn mass goers to have hot pot and after attending the church service, the city government through the City Economic Enterprises Office, set up the Siyam ka Kaadlawon Pamainit sa Pasko near San Pedro Cathedral.

San Pedro Cathedral is the biggest Catholic Church located at the heart of the city.

The good stalls started to serve food to serve food starting December 16, which will be managed by the individual tenants.

In a report released by the City Information Office, Maximo Macalipes said twenty (20) food stalls will put up displays for nine mornings which start from 1 am- 7 am from December 16-24,” Macalipes said.

Macalipes said that some food choices include puto bumbong and sikwate.

Earlier on, the city’s economic enterprise conducted the raffling for eligible vendors and their orientation with Task Force Davao, the City Health Office, and the City Environment and Natural Resources Office.
