Davao residents forced to evacuate due to flooding

DAVAO CITY — Residents of Jade Valley, near Davao-Japan national highway here have been ordered to evacuate from their houses as floodwaters reached their ceiling.

The City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer (CDRRMO) has ordered the forced evacuation in Jade Valley, Barangay Tigatto, as the water in the nearby river swell.

The CDRRMO has also sent an alert warning to all residents near rivers and waterways.
