Davao’s Danao is new Calabarzon PNP director

DAVAO CITY — Former Davao City Police Director Vicente Danao has been relieved from Manila Police District and promoted to lead the Calabarzon Provincial Command.

Danao is one of the 22 PNP officials affected by the revamp which took effect on Sunday, October 20.

The former Davao Police Chief, is known for being frank and strict in the performance of his duty.

Danao is among the 22 top PNP officials who got new post in the massive PNP revamp.

It was during his stay as DCPO, the police command discovered and confiscated 28 bricks of cocaine hidden inside a deck of an international container ship.
