Duterte arrives in Davao

DAVAO CITY (Updated) —- President Rodrigo Duterte arrived in Davao City Sunday afternoon, October 6, after a successful five-day official visit in the Russian Federation.

Duterte said the rip was successful, as he brought some commitments from prospective investors.

The President also met the Filipino community in Russia.

He announced, “We have signed several agreements, but I need to confer with the cabinet first,” he added.

Here’s the list of the agreements signed during Duterte’s visit to Russia:

List of Philippines-Russian Federation Business Agreements:

1.   Memorandum of Understanding

Cooperation on information exchange and collaboration on business development aimed at the promotion of trade and investment between the Philippines and Russia, members of Russia-ASEAN Business Council, and Philippine companies

Signatories: Ramon Lopez, Secretary, Department of Trade and Industry and Ivan Polyakov, Chairman, Russia-ASEAN Business Council

2.   Memorandum of Intent

Exchange of information on investment environment and opportunities; attract and support foreign investments in both the Philippines and Russia; encourage interested local companies in setting up or expanding their businesses; and organize business missions, workshops, other bilateral investments promotion activities

Signatories: Ramon Lopez, Secretary, Department of Trade and Industry-Board of Investments and Maxim Pazdnikov, Co-Chairman, Association of Industrial Parks of Russia

3.   Memorandum of Intent

Intention to jointly explore the prospects of cooperation in the construction of nuclear power plants in the Philippines

Signatories: Alfonso Cusi, Secretary, Department of Energy and Evgeny Pakermanov, Rusatom Overseas

4.   Memorandum of Understanding

Century Pacific Food, Inc. will supply tuna and sardine products to Magnit Food Retail Chain to serve the Russian market

Signatories: Gregory Francis H. Banzon, COO and EVP, Century Pacific Food, Inc. and Jan Gezinyus Dunning, Chairman, President and CEO, Magnit Food Retail Chain

5.   Memorandum of Understanding

Century Pacific Food, Inc. will supply tuna and sardine products to Dalimo to serve the Russian market

Signatories: Gregory Francis H. Banzon, COO and EVP, Century Pacific Food, Inc. and Igor Nikulin, General Director, Dalimo

6.   Memorandum of Understanding

Century Pacific Food, Inc. will supply tuna and sardine products to LLC Dalpromryba to serve the Russian market

Signatories: Gregory Francis H. Banzon, COO and EVP, Century Pacific Food, Inc. and Neuimin E.A., Commercial Director, LLC Dalpromyrba

7.   Memorandum of Understanding

Century Pacific Agricultural Ventures Inc., will supply coconut milk products to Panasia Impex Co. Ltd. to serve the Russian market

8.   Distributorship Agreement

Appointment of Lifetruck International Incorporated as the exclusive sole distributor for the distribution, promotion, and sale of Sturmanskie watches in Philippines

Signatories: Joell Evasco, President, Lifetruck International Incorporated and Valentinas Volodko, President, VOLMAX GROUP LTD.

9.   Distributorship Agreement

Appointment of Lifetruck International Incorporated as the exclusive sole distributor for the distribution, promotion, and sale of Kamaz vehicles in Philippines

Signatories: Joell Evasco, President, Lifetruck International Incorporated and Rafail V. Gafeev, General Director, KAMAZ FTC Inc.

10.                 Memorandum of Agreement

Promotion, distribution, and selling of IPP-NLS technologies, particularly Metatron Micro MRI Systems and its variations in the Philippines

Signatories: Dr. Antonio G. Calanoc, President and Medical Director, Immunitas Holistic Consultants, Inc. and Dr. Vera I. Nesterova, Director, Institute of Practical Psychophysics.
