DAVAO CITY (May 19) — President Rodrigo Duterte is well and having his ‘me time’.
In a facebook post uploaded by his long time aide, now Senator-elect Christopher Lawrence ‘Bong’ Go, Duterte was seen reading a national tabloid inside a room with Go.
In the same post Go stated “Maraming Salamat sa Suporta at tiwala!!! —Kuya Bong Go at Tatay Digong.”
NewsLine.ph sources said “The President is having me time, but he is monitoring the election returns.”
Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea also denied rumors that was rushed to the Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan after allegedly suffering from cardiac arrest.
“He should probably be in his quarters and resting, like what I will do in a few minutes,” Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea said in a message to reporters.
Online reports by Manila-based news organization speculates Duterte could have been hospitalized because of his long absence from the publics eye.
In a report published by Inquirer.net, Presidential Daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte said “I have no news of sickness or death.” She explained “I do not know where the President is. We only talk on special family occasions.”-NewsLine.ph
