DAVAO CITY — A father of two killed his 2 and 50year old sons, their mother and later killed himself at Sitio Glandang, Barangay Kablon, Tupi, South Cotabato at around 9:00 in the evening of December 3, 2021.
Police Major Rafael Banggay Jr., Acting Chief of Police of Tupi Municipal Police Station, who visited the crime revealed the suspect, a 37-year-old husband stabbed his two-year old and five-year-old sons and their mother after a heated altercation on Friday night, and minutes after he took his own life using the same bolo he used to kill his family.
Banggay said, during the investigation, a neighbor of the victims disclosed that at around 9:00 in the evening, she heard series of loud cries from the victim’s residence prompting her to rush to the victim’s house and upon entering, she saw the suspect holding a knife pierced straight to his abdomen.
The victims were rushed to a nearby clinic but were declared ded upon arrival by the attending physicians.
