SULTAN KUDARAT – In a tragic incident, former Vice Mayor Bai Sittie Jinn Utto Lumenda and her father were ambushed and killed. The ambush took place while the victims were traveling along the mentioned highway aboard a white pick-up truck, when they were attacked by armed assailants.
The Lambayong Police Station immediately launched a hot pursuit operation to apprehend the suspects.
The authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the motive behind the ambush and identify the perpetrators. While no official statement has been released regarding the incident.
