Lanao del Norte, Philippines – The provincial government of Lanao del Norte has inaugurated Bahay Pag-asa, a short-term sanctuary for the youth.

Formerly the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology building located near the Provincial Capitol, the facility has been transformed into a sanctuary with necessary facilities.

The primary objective of Bahay Pag-asa is to offer holistic support to young individuals, enabling them to find healing and acquire valuable skills.

The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office will oversee the operations and management of Bahay Pag-asa.

This initiative by the Lanao del Norte Provincial Government demonstrates their commitment to the welfare and well-being of children and adolescents facing difficult situations. By providing a safe and nurturing environment, the provincial government aims to guide and empower these young individuals, enabling them to rebuild their lives and secure a brighter future.

Bahay Pag-asa serves as a testament to the government’s dedication to addressing the needs of vulnerable youth, ensuring their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
