Live-in partner busted for illegal drugs

DAVAO CITY –— Police authorities in the town of Kapalong, Davao del Norte on Monday busted a live-in partner who smuggled the illegal drug “Shabu”.

Kapalong police identified the suspects as Alias ‘Tinio” and Alias “Lisa” who were arrested during the joint Anti-Illegal Drug Operation in purok 11-C, Barangay Maniki, Kapalong at about 10:20 p.m.

Authorities confiscated from the possession of the suspects a suspected “shabu’ which weighs more or less 0.9 grams with an estimated market value of P6,120.

The suspects are now in the custody of Kapalong PNP while charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 are being prepared.

The joint operation was conducted by the personnel of Davao del Norte Police Intelligence Unit, 1102nd Regional Mobile Force battalion, and the 1st DNPMFC, under the supervision of police Major Joel Caesar Cabe, the station commander of Kapalong PNP.
