KIDAPAWAN CITY – The Cotabato Provincial Hospital in Barangay Amas, Kidapawan City will soon have Malasakit Center.

North Cotabato Governor Nancy Catamco said she requested the Center from the offices of President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Christopher ‘Bong’ Go to address the needs of the people in the province for medical services.

Catamco said putting up the Center in the Cotabato Provincial Hospital will be a great help to the residents of North Cotabato since through it the different government offices can extend their services to the hospital patients especially the poor ones.

The Malasakit Center is a One-Stop-Shop where indigent patients can efficiently access financial medical assistance from agencies such as PhilHealth, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, and the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

These agencies agreed to have their respective representatives present in the Center so that people will be able to transact without having to leave the hospital.-Newsline.ph
