Many factors led to C-130 crash in Sulu-AFP

Davao City — The Armed Forces of the Philippines noted multi-factor which caused the C-130 transport aircraft crash in Patikul, Sulu, on July 4, 2021.

Ina video interview with Col. Ramon Zagala, Armed Forces of the Philippines spokesperson he said many factors led to the fatal crash.

He emphasized “Material, human and environmental factors were determined by the Philippine Air Force Accident Investigation Board as the cause of the ill-fated C-130 crash in Sulu, It was most probably due to actual or perceived material factors, and induced human factors which were aggravated by local and environmental conditions,”

He said the pilot did what was best given the situation but failed which led to the death of 50 soldiers, 46 wounded and three other civilians killed during the crash.
