March 21, 2018 by Editha Z. Caduaya

DAVAO CITY, Philippines —DAVAO CITY, Philippines — Megastar Sharon Cuneta happily shared moments with President Rodrigo Duterte at the Palace Tuesday night.

Sharon has been very vocal on his admiration to Duterte . His father, then Pasay Mayor Pablo Cuneta was also a friend of Duterte.

Cuneta, wife of Opposition Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, admitted being a fan of Duterte, a thing, which according to her, is being respected by her husband.

The President and Cuneta’s brother

In her birthday last January, the President greeted the Megastar in a video message.

Cuneta has consistently stressed, “all politics aside and with all due respect to my husband who so understands my “wala akong pakialam sa politika.”

Cuneta’s ex-husband, actor Gabby Concepcion is also a fan of Duterte.

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte is a fan of Cuneta. Sara even offered a bouquet to Cuneta on stage when she held a concert here several years ago

On her facebook wall, Cuneta posted series of photos as she described he family’s meeting with Duterte.

Cuneta in a post said”Ito po ang mga kinukuwento ko kay Kiko kanina pa! Kumain ng sardines si Tatay Digong kanina, nagcrave tuloy ako. Magsasardinas din kami ni Kiko bago ako matulog!!!

“My beloved only brother with the exact same DNA as mine, Chet, @chetdc9 finally met his idol and hero tonight. My Daddy was a good friend of the President’s. Kuya and I always find ways to make each other happy. Tonight, I was not only happy and honored to have dinner with Pres. Duterte, but also to make my Kuya the happiest I’ve ever been able to make him. Hope you’re happy, Daddy! I love you so much, Kuya ko. And thank you, Mr. President. We pray that God’s hand be upon you so that you may steer our country where He knows it will be best! “

“Got home before sunrise then my hubby woke up to start his day. Di pa ko nakakatanggal ng make-up cos I was excitedly making him kuwento about the President and kuya and our friends and how much fun we had. He’s so chill and happy that kuya and I are happy! Di naman personal ang di nila pagkakasundo sa pulitika, sabi nga ni Tatay Digong kanina eh – they respect each other even if they disagree on certain things. Well – that’s why it’s nice that we live in a free country. Politics? Temporary. My Dad was the President’s good friend? Hey – deal closed! Blessed to have a hubby like my dork.????☀????⭐????☕????????

“And each of us got this Presidential gift when we were about to leave. My kuya is so happy that he might go back later to swim in the river around Malacañan! Hahaha!”

Duterte shared moments with the Cuneta’s at Malacañang Golf Course.

Supporters of Duterte  who are Sharonian’s praised  the megastar for preserving their  friendship setting aside.-ezc/Newsline.ph
