Newborn baby found outside a store

DAVAO CITY — A newborn baby boy was abandoned outside a store in Zone 2 in the village of Villarica, Babak District , Island garden City of Samal at about 6:15 in the morning on Saturday.

Arjay owner of a store told newsline “The baby was wrapped in a light blue blanket and was still breathing, we immediately called the police, it’s a newborn baby.”

Health workers and rescuers immediately asked for support since there was only a cloth and nothing else for the baby.

There was outpouring of support  from milk to baby clothes.

The rescuers named the baby Ismael, who is now in a hospital since his sugar level continues to fluctuate.
