OFWs nagsugod na’g pamauli sa DavOr

MATI CITY — Ang mga Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) nga mga taga-Davao Oriental nagsugod na og pauli human sa taas-taas nga pagpuyo sa Manila tungod sa coronavirus pandemic.

Matud pa sa taho sa Davao Oriental Public Information Office sa Martes, Hunyo 2, 34 ka mga OFW ang miabot miaging semana sakay sa mga sweeper flight ubos sa Balik Probinsiya Program sa nasudnong kagamhanan.

Sukad pa miaging bulan, ang kagamhanan sa Davao Oriental mipasilitar na sa pagpauli sa 97 ka mga OFW nga natanggong didto sa Manila.

Ang mga OFW gitagbo sa usa ka bus didto sa airport sa Davao City ug gihatod sa Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) Operation Center dinhi sa dakbayan.

Sila gikuha usab dayon sa mga sakyanan sa ilang tagsa-tagsa ka mga lokal nga kagamhanan (LGU) ug gihatod ngadto sa mga Quarantine Center sa ilang lungsod, kung diin sila i-kwarentina ug i-swab test.

Sumala pa ni Dr. Reden Bersaldo, action officer sa Provincial Task Force on Covid-19, kinahanglan gihapon i-swab test ang mga OFW sa ilang pag-abot bisan pa sila nagnegatibo didto sa Manila.

“We implement this policy para pagsiguro nga dili sila mga carrier sa virus. And if they are, they will be contained and they will be easily traced,” ingon ni Bersaldo.

Niadtong Biyernes, Mayo 29, walo ka mga OFW ang migawas nga positibo sa coronavirus disease (Covid-19) ug sila kasamtangan nang gilain ug gitambalan sulod sa Quarantine Center, samtang ang mga tawo nga ilang nakahalobilo gipang-trace na.

Sa mga nagpositibo, lima ang taga lungsod sa Banay-Banay ug tulo ang taga San Isidro.

Ang mga OFW malipayon ug mapasalamaton nga nakauli na sa ilang lalawigan sa Davao Oriental.

Malipayon usab si Gobernador Nelson Dayanghirang nga nakatabang ang probinsiyal nga kagamhanan sa pagpauli sa mga OFW. (LBG)
