P108M shabu busted in Zamboanga City

ZAMBOANGA CITY – About sixteen kilos of suspected shabu were seized by authorities in a buy-bust operation by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-9) on May 17, 2024, around 6:45 in the evening in Barangay Canelar, Zamboanga City.

According to the PDEA Regional Office 9 report, the suspect was identified as Alnasher Jumdain Mudah, 42 years old, a resident of Barangay Talon-talon, Zamboanga City.

Authorities confiscated from Mudah 16 vacuum-sealed plastic packs containing suspected shabu with an estimated value of 108.8 million pesos.

Among those confiscated by the operatives was the commuter van that was allegedly used in the suspect’s transaction.

On May 2, 2024, PDEA-IX also confiscated 21 kilos of shabu believed to be worth 145 million pesos in Sallam Drive, Barangay Mampang Zamboanga City during a buy bust operation where 4 suspects were arrested.
