DAVAO CITY — Police Lieutenant Colonel (Dr.) Van Jason Conag Villamor, a police officer and practicing physician, has filed charges against Vice President Sara Duterte and her companions. The complaint was lodged before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office Wednesday Morning, November 27, citing violations of Direct Assault, Disobedience, and Grave Coercion.

Lt. Col. Villamor, who is assigned to the District Medical and Dental Unit (DMDU) of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), formalized the charges under oath before Assistant City Prosecutor Romel P. Delos Reyes.

Details of the alleged incidents leading to the charges have yet to be fully disclosed, but Villamor claims the violations involve direct assault, disobedience to authority, and coercive actions. Witnesses have reportedly provided statements in support of the case.

The charges are expected to trigger legal proceedings that will be closely monitored given the high-profile nature of the respondents, particularly Vice President Duterte.

As of this writing, Vice President Duterte and her camp have yet to issue an official statement regarding the complaint.

Meanwhile, the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office will evaluate the evidence to determine if the case will proceed to trial.

This legal action marks a significant development involving a top government official and raises questions about the circumstances that led to the complaint.

Updates on the case are anticipated in the coming days as the investigation unfolds.
