CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (November 20) — The Department of Migrant Workers in Northern Mindanao (DMW-10) on Wednesday partnered with 27 agencies and organizations to reinforce its reintegration program for returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).

The move strengthens the National Reintegration Network (NRN), providing returning workers with livelihood support and opportunities to continue contributing to their communities.

DMW-10 officer-in-charge Emmanuel Toledo said the program recognizes the challenges OFWs face abroad and the difficulties of reestablishing themselves at home after finishing their contracts.

“We can build a Philippines where coming home is not the end of the journey but the beginning of new and endless possibilities,” he said.

During the event, 59 OFWs received seed grants under the “Sa Pinas, Ikaw ang Ma’am at Sir” program, 64 beneficiaries received support through the Livelihood Program for OFW Reintegration, and 20 Aksyon Fund recipients were recognized for their successful transition and inspiring reintegration journeys.

The initiative underscores a collective effort to empower OFWs, helping them build sustainable livelihoods and strengthen their communities.
