Scheduled power interruptions in Davao City and Davao del Norte on April 13

DAVAO CITY —- Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) has announced scheduled power interruptions on Sunday, April 13, 2025, affecting various areas in Davao City and Davao del Norte. These interruptions are necessary to facilitate pole relocation and substation maintenance.​

Buhangin Area, Davao City: A 45-minute power interruption will occur between 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. for load transfer, and another 45-minute interruption between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. for normalization.​

An 8-hour power interruption is scheduled from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., affecting areas along Cabantian Road from Gaisano Grand Citygate Mall to Holy Child College, including Carpio Subdivision, LTO DLRO Citygate Buhangin, Davao City Police Station 5, St. Mary of the Perpetual Rosary Parish, Osorio Compound, Sand Village, Villa Park Subdivision, portions of Northcrest Drive, A.P. Dela Cerna Facility, and Co Su Gian Home for the Aged.​

Panabo and Surrounding Areas, Davao del Norte A 45-minute power interruption will occur between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. for load transfer.​

A 4-hour power interruption is scheduled from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., affecting areas from Maximus Sto. Niño to Guadalupe Bridge, including some puroks of Brgy. Sto. Niño and Brgy. Asuncion, and all parts of Ising, Taba, Tuganay, Anibongan, San Isidro, Guadalupe, and Mabaus.​

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience and assures customers that efforts will be made to restore power as scheduled or earlier. Customers are advised to take necessary precautions and to contact Davao Light’s 24/7 Customer Contact Service at (082) 229 3572, (084) 655 3572 (Panabo), or 0919 056 3572 for any concerns.
