DAVAO CITY – A 70-year-old woman, Nenita Cepada Pagatpatan, has admitted to the murder of her househelper, Shiela Han-ay Lagsaway, on June 17. The Davao City Police disclosed that the victim was struck with a piece of lumber.
The incident took place while Lagsaway was tending to their plants. According to reports, the senior citizen was captured on CCTV footage later that night, seen carrying the lifeless body of the victim.
An autopsy conducted on the victim’s body has revealed that Sheila Lagsaway, the helper killed in Davao City, died from cerebral hemorrhage.
The examination indicated a possible head injury as the cause of the hemorrhage.
Authorities have emphasized that Pagatpatan will not be released, as murder charges are non-bailable.
