Service disruptions on November 26 in the northern part of Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct three power interruptions on November 26, Sunday, affecting customers in the northern part of Davao City.

These power disruptions are necessary to relocate the poles at Tibungco.

The first power interruption will be for 1 hour, from 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. to conduct transfer of loads. Meanwhile, the normalization or return of loads back to their normal set-up will be for another 1 hour, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Specifically affected are customers from Tibungco Public Market, the whole of Eliong Road, and nearby areas, as well as Gaisano Grand Tibungco, La Filipina, Vifel Cold Storage, DCCC, Budbud area, Buhisan area, Bosque area, and nearby areas.

Also affected are customers in Bunawan proper, Shell Helix Bunawan, Holy Cross of Bunawan, Bunawan Aplaya area, Steniel up to Licanan, and nearby areas.

Additionally, the third power interruption will be for 8 hours from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. to conduct isolation of affected lines for the same purpose.

Specifically affected are customers from Sumifru, AJMR, KTC terminal, and TESDA up to Buhisan area.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.

Safety is of paramount importance to the company and Davao Light reminds the public to always take extra precautions when passing by activity area/s where line repairs and maintenance are being done. Please heed and follow warning signs, especially in areas where personnel operate heavy equipment.
