ISABELA – In a successful buy-bust operation, local law enforcement authorities have apprehended a notorious drug personality identified as Rolando Nuña Jr., a 29-year-old resident of Barangay Binuangan in Isabela.

Nuña, who openly confessed to his involvement in the illicit drug trade, admitted that he had long been engaged in the destructive habit of using and selling illegal drugs. His experience in the underworld had made him adept at discerning the identity of his counterparts, whether they were law enforcement officers or ordinary civilians.

However, his luck ran out as the police proved to be more vigilant than he anticipated.

During the operation, in addition to the illegal drugs that Nuña had intended to sell, authorities also discovered and confiscated four sachets suspected to contain shabu (methamphetamine).

The suspect is currently in custody at the Isabela City Police Station, awaiting further legal proceedings.

Local authorities have commended the success of the operation, which aims to rid the community of the harmful influence of illegal drugs and safeguard the welfare of its residents.

The Isabela City Police assured the public that they remain committed to their duty to maintain peace and order and protect the well-being of the community.
