Temporary bailey bridge in Davao’s remote village collapsed

DAVAO CITY –— A temporary bailey bridge in one of the city’s remote sub-village Sitio Kulafo in Barangay Magsaysay, Marilog District, Davao City collapsed Monday night as an offshoot of heavy downpour and strong water current.

Team Davao Rescue on a Facebook post revealed that the incident caused heavy traffic among motorist in said village.

The bailey bridge served as the temporary mode of connecting the residents to the other side of the road as their bridge is under construction.

Barangay Magsaysay is 62.39 kilometers away from Davao City Hall, the city center.
