DAVAO CITY — With the goal to help augment patrolling and enhance security in its host communities in Navotas City, Therma Mobile, Inc. (TMO), together with Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (AFI), turned over two modern tricycles to barangays North Bay Boulevard North (NBBN) and North Bay Boulevard South (NBBS)-Proper.

The modern tricycles will serve as service vehicles to help local officials maintain orderliness in their respective communities for a more efficient response especially during emergencies and calamities.

Barangay. Chairmen Melvin Manalo of NBBN and Elvis Desabille of NBBS-Proper received the donated tricycles that are equipped with better performance and mileage, which are more efficient to use with low maintenance costs and quiet engines.

“We are thankful for the continuous support from Therma Mobile to the city. These tricycles will provide a huge help to our barangays for them to provide social and humanitarian services faster, especially in times of medical emergencies,” said Navotas City Mayor John Rey Tiangco during the turnover ceremony last August 30.

“My only request for the two barangays is to take care of this donation. Maintain this properly so it will last and can benefit more of our constituents,” he added.

AboitizPower Oil BU Reputation Manager Kristian Anderson Santos emphasized their support to help strengthen the security and welfare of communities that they operate in.

“We are honored to contribute to your service for the people in your respective barangays. With our aim to empower and uplift lives for a better future, we hope that these modern tricycles will not only provide convenient access to essential services but also bridge the mobility needs to help power progress in the communities that we serve,” he said.
