Top 5 most wanted in Davao Region arrested

DAVAO CITY – Authorities apprehended Antonio Baquero Aleniabon, 47, a construction worker and resident of Sitio Luman, Barangay New Valencia, Tugbok District, following a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Dante Baguio of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 12 in Davao City.

Aleniabon, who was ranked as the top 5 Most Wanted Person in the Davao Region, faces multiple charges, including Qualified Rape, Qualified Sexual Assault, and two counts of Lascivious Conduct under Republic Act 7610, the “Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.”

The warrant of arrest was executed by personnel from Los Amigos Police Station 20, in collaboration with members of the 1105th MC RMFB 11, DCPO 1st CMFC, and CIT Davao RIU 11, during an operation conducted at 10:45 a.m. on December 3.

The court sets the following amount for bail:

  • Qualified Rape: No bail recommended
  • Qualified Sexual Assault: Bail set at ₱120,000
  • 2 counts of Lascivious Conduct: Bail set at ₱180,000

The suspect is now at the custody of the police.
