Cascolan vows internal cleansing against drug traffickingPosted on
DAVAO CITY — Newly appointed Philippine National Police Camilo Cascolan has vowed to cleanse the ranks of his organization along with the fight against illegal drugs and the coronavirus pandemic.
In his three-point agency, Cascolan spelled out running after Illegal drugs, internal cleansing, and the implementation of COVID-19 new normal together with Filipino people.
Newly-assumed Chief of the PNP Public Information Office and PNP Spokesperson Police Colonel Ysmael Yu in a statement said the PNP Chief will be felt by both the people and our PNP personnel on the ground as he committed to lead by example in showing police visibility to gain the vital support of the communities.
The Chief PNP also vowed to continue to pave the way for institutionalized sustainable development of the PNP through its transformation roadmap PATROL Plan 2030 or the Peace and Order Agenda for Transformation and Upholding of the Rule of Law.
Yu narrated that the PATROL Plan 2030 is the organization’s strategy “for real and lasting transformation in order to attain its vision of a highly capable, effective, and credible police service working in partnership with a responsive community towards the attainment of a safer place to live, work and do business”.
“This crucial 3-point shots of our Chief PNP can only be attained through a united PNP that is responsible, respected disciplined, and guided by our PNP Core Values of Maka-Diyos, Maka-Tao, Makabayan at Makakalikasan!” Yu added.-Newsline.ph
