Town constructs P15-M infirmary hospital between borders

DAVAO DEL NORTE — A P15-million infirmary hospital will soon rise in the town of Sto. Tomas here, this after the municipal government successfully collaborated with a party-list group to fund for the building,

On Tuesday, no less the Governor Edwin I. Jubahib joined town Mayor Ernesto Evangelista in paying the capsule for the construction of the infirmary hospital in the village of Casag-ang, which signals the start of construction, the even was attended by the villages and other provincial officials.

The fund for the construction is a donation from CWS (Construction Workers Service) party-list

The village of Casag-ang sits in the boundaries of Sto. Tomas and Braulio Dujali town here.

Casag-ang is the abode of over 3,000 residents, but according to Evangelista it is an ideal place for the upcoming hospital because it is at the border and it can serve people in nearby villages and the next town saying “Health Services and Facilities must be shared.

“The money we purchased in this property is from your money, people’s taxes and we dedicate this for you so that we can respond to your health needs.” Evangelista in his speech emphasized.

Jubahib for his part said the provincial government has allocated a fund for the personnel and equipment needed for its operation.

“This project will have the full support of the provincial government and I want every stakeholder who needs government health intervention to avail the service of this hospital when it is completed,” Jubahid emphasized.-ezc
