Two students killed in Pikit shooting

COTABATO – Two students were fatally shot on the spot in Barangay Ladtingan, Pikit, Cotabato, on Sunday evening, October 15.

The victims were identified as 21-year-old Jamer Pundato Ebrahim and 20-year-old Muhaliden Sangbaan Amer, both residents of Barangay Poblacion, Pikit, as confirmed by the Pikit Municipal Police Station.

Authorities reported that the students were riding a motorcycle when unidentified criminals suddenly fired shots at them. Four .45 caliber bullet shells were found at the crime scene.

A thorough investigation by the Pikit Municipal Police Station is ongoing to uncover the circumstances behind this tragic shooting incident in Pikit.
