LANAO DEL NORTE — A still unidentified gunman killed the village chief of Mahayahay in the town of Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao del Norte, on Sunday at around 11:30 in the evening August 21, 2022.
Municipal police chief PMaj. Moamar Solog, identified the victim as Rudi Bitangcor, 54 years old.
Solog said Bitangcor sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the different parts of his body causing his instantaneous death.
The police has yet to identify the suspect and the motive behind the killing as of press time.-Michael Navarro
