Zambo police buy-bust yields 245K worth of drugs

Zamboanga City Police Drug Enforcement Unit from Police Station 7 on February 28, arrested suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust operation that yielded 36.12 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu.

DEU team leader Police Master Sergeant Marlon Dimaisip said they arrested Noudrickar Tano Nasaluddin, a high-value target, and resident of Barangay Guiwan, Zamboanga City.

“Also arrested was Richard Sy Della Torre from Barangay Guiwan in this city,” Dimaisip said.

The recovered eight packets of suspected shabu weighing 36.12 grams was estimated to have a street value of P245,616.

A cellphone and P1,000 marked money used in the buy-bust were also recovered.

“The recovered items were immediately brought to the Zamboanga City Forensic Unit for examination,” Dimaisip said.

The arrested suspects were detained at Zamboanga City Police Station 7 for filing of a case in court for violating R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
