The one-day vaccination program has prioritized Capitol workers who has comorbidities that puts them in the A3 category of the Department of Health’s (DOH’s) COVID-19 Vaccination Program’s prioritization framework.

Vaccination was conducted following the inoculation of individuals who falls on the A1 and A2 categories that specifically refers to the frontline health services workers and senior citizens.

To ensure smooth and organized flow of the rollout, organizers has implemented several steps or processes in order to prevent the event from becoming a super spreader that has been blamed as among those that caused the sudden spike of Covid cases. Before the workers got the much-needed jabs, they earlier went through a registration process, then counselling and the checking of body vital signs.

It was followed by a meticulous screening of individuals that categorized them through a color coding scheme: Green, Yellow and Orange. Green signifies that the individual has no sickness or is deemed normal, on the other hand, yellow means that an individual has a comorbidity, and orange is an indication that an individual has two or more comorbidities.-PIO (DavOr)
