Davao City provides transport for health workers

DAVAO CITY — The city government of Davao has provided a bus to transport medical practitioners who are now working amidst the coronavirus disease pandemic.

In a Facebook post, the management of the government’s Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) thanked Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio for providing free rides to hospital employees.

This developed as the management of the hospital announced the shortened visiting hours.

The notice says ” SPMC Limiting Visiting Hours from10am to 11am only beginning March 19, 2020.”

The visiting time is scheduled at 10:00 am to 11:00 am to prevent or minimize the COVID19 transmission in the hospital premises.-Newsline
