NoCot releases incentives and uniform for town BPAT

TULUNAN, NORTH COTABATO — The provincial government of North Cotabato has released the P 517,000 fund for the incentives and uniforms of the Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT) for Tulunan town.

Governor Nancy A. Catamco believes that BPAT members play vital role in their respective villages not only in the maintenance of peace and order but in this trying times- they also serve as front-liners.

“The provincial government does not look at the political color to any groups or sub-groups in the communities not political colors, it is not the season for politics, election period is still far, I will always respect your choice it is your right to suffrage, I am here to serve you as your governor, and service to people knows no color or race,” Catamco said during the turn-over.

Each member received P1,000 cash and a pair uniform. Catamco also said she will meet with the officials of the Department of Interior and Local Government.-Newsline.ph
