Emergency power interruption on March 7 in Carmen, Davao del Norte

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct an emergency power interruption on March 7, 2024, Thursday, affecting customers in the Municipality of Carmen, Davao del Norte.

This will be for 1 hour to 2 hours anytime between 2:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. to facilitate the normalization of Panabo Substation, San Vicente Substation, and DICT switching station.

Specifically affected are customers in Brgy. Sto. Nino Carmen, whole of Poblacion Carmen, and Tuganay.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by this emergency power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.

Safety is of paramount importance to the company and Davao Light reminds the public to always take extra precautions when passing by activity area/s where line repairs and maintenance are being done. Please heed and follow warning signs, especially in areas where personnel operate heavy equipment.
