DAVAO CITY —A 55-year-old man who was considered the number 7 most wanted person was arrested in the case of Rape by Sexual Assault in General Santos City on Saturday, April 6 at ECA Bulding, Barangay City Heights, General Santos City.
Police Brigadier General Percival Augustus P Placer, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 12 identified the suspect as alias “Rey” 55 years old, married and a resident of Purok Santa Teresita, Barangay San Isidro, General Santos City.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest in the case of Rape by Sexual Assault in Relation to Republic Act 7610, Contrary to Article 266-A (Par. 2) which is related to Article 266-B (Penalties) of the Revised Penal Code which was amended by RA 8353 in relation to RA 7610 with a bail of Php200,000.
