Aktibo Dabawenyo Program rolls out new sports gear to public schools

DAVAO CITY (July 6) — The Davao City Sports Development Division (SDD) has begun distributing sports equipment to four schools as part of the Aktibo Dabawenyo School for Sports Training Program.

The equipment aims to help coaches deliver structured, safe, and effective training sessions in line with the program’s goals.

Items include batons, shot puts, discus, and javelins for athletics; agility ladders, balls, goalkeeper gloves, cones, and hurdles for football and futsal; nets and kicking pads for sepak takraw; and protective gear for karatedo and taekwondo.

On July 1, Davao City National High School received its equipment sets. A.L. Navarro National High School is scheduled for distribution on July 3, Crossing Bayabas National High School on July 4, and Tugbok National High School in the last week of July.
