Armed men snatch P1.7-M from cargo forwarder on a broad daylight

ISABELA CITY, Zamboanga Peninzula-— Three masked armed men were caught on CCTV while they held-up and carted away the P1.7-million collection of a cargo fowarding company here at around 9:45 in the morning on May 11.

City Police Chief LtCol. Jun Sittin told Newsline “Sherelyn Akmad and the security guard Noel Francisco just left their office to deposit the money at the bank when the suspects stopped their motorbike and took the money at gunpoint.”

It took them almost two hours to report the incident to the police.

Sittin said, they will review the CCTV footage to identify the suspects as he asked teh residents to report to them any knowledge about the suspects.
