COTABATO CITY — The bridge will connect to communities and spur development, this is how Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM)  Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim described when he laid the capsule of the   150-meter-long bridge connecting the towns of Pahamudin in Special Geographic Area (SGA) and Kabuntalan in Maguindanao del Norte last week.

The Bangsamoro government allocated P180 million,  for its construction, the project is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2025.

Ebrahim said the bridge is not just a structure but an economic opportunity for the residents since they will have jobs during the construction and people will have good access from their farms to the markets once it is completed.

In his speech, the  Chief Minister emphasized “Ang tulay na ito ay magbubuhos ng mga oportunidad tungo sa pag-unlad ng pamumuhay ng bawat Bangsamoro sa mga lugar na makikinabang dito,” Ebrahim said.
