MANILA (October 17) — A Mandaluyong court has ordered the cancellation of the passports of former PCSO general manager Royina Garma, ex-police commissioner Edilberto Leonardo and three others accused in the 2020 killing of Wesley Barayuga, citing flight risk.

In its Oct. 15 order, the court directed the Department of Foreign Affairs to revoke their travel documents and issued a hold departure order against all five suspects.

Mendoza and Mariano, who have entered not guilty pleas, will remain under National Bureau of Investigation custody ahead of pre-trial on Nov. 12, while the rest remain fugitives.

Garma and Leonardo were earlier tagged as alleged masterminds in the murder of Barayuga, then board secretary of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.
