DAVAO CITY, Philippines — The City Government of Davao established the Davao City recreation Center or Almendras Gym as another venue for processing the renewal of business permits.
Aside from the Office of the Business Bureau at the Sangguanian Panlungsod building along San Pedro and Magalles Streets, the city opens the Almendras Gym this year for said purpose.
The city used to occupy a space at the NCCC Mall Davao along MacArthur highway and Maa road to cater to business operators seeking renewal of their permits but the mall was burned in December 23, 2017.
The processing of permit renewal started last January 2, 2017, no noon breaks and is open during Saturdays and Sundays until midnight of January 20.
Business operators seeking renewal should bring the following requirements:

Proof of business registration, incorporation, or legal personality (e. DTI/SEC/CDADOLE registration)

Basis for computing taxes, fees and charges (example: Business Capitalization)

Copy of Occupancy Permit
-
Contract of Lease (if Lessee); if rented, tax declaration

Barangay Clearance – for business
PURSUANT TO REVENUE CODE OF DAVAO CITY (Ond. No. 158-05 series of 2005)

Current Year community Tax Certificate (Cedula)
-
Sketch of business location
-
Certificate of any Tax Exemption, if applicable (Certified True Copy)

Tax declaration or any Proof of Ownership (if owned); or Certification from the registered owner for free usage of his/her property

For foreign nationals — Authority to Engage Business in the Philippines, photocopies of VISA, and Passport

If represented, Special Power of Attorney with CLEAR photocopy of ID of the person authorized to transact and sign and CLEAR photocopy of ID of the taxpayer/applicant, or

Board Resolution/Secretary Certificate authorizing person to transact and sign and CLEAR photocopy of ID of signatory and authorized person
