Emergency service disruptions on October 25 in Davao del Norte

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct emergency switching power interruptions on October 25, Wednesday, affecting customers in Davao del Norte.

These power interruptions are necessary after the preventive maintenance works at San Vicente Substation and DICT Switching Station.

The first power interruption will be for 1 hour from 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. to conduct isolation of affected lines. Meanwhile, the normalization or return of loads to their normal set-up will be for 1 hour from 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Specifically affected are customers in San Vicente Area, Rachoville Subdivision, Manay, Nanyo, Malitbog, Gaisano Grand Mall, Panabo Wharf Road, DICT, and Anflocor Industrial Estate.

Also affected are customers from Panabo Bus Terminal, City Hall, Panabo Park, Cabaluna St., Quirino St., Circumferential Tadeco Road, Main Highway National Road, Maryknoll Highschool, Salvacion up to Municipality of Carmen, and nearby areas.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.

Safety is of paramount importance to the company and Davao Light reminds the public to always take extra precautions when passing by activity area/s where line repairs and maintenance are being done. Please heed and follow warning signs, especially in areas where personnel operate heavy equipment.
