Flooding in Samantha Homes, Davao City captured on video

DAVAO CITY – A resident of Samantha Homes, Davao City, Jeric Basmayor, recorded a compelling video of the intense floodwaters in the area on Wednesday, November 8, shortly past 11:00 PM.

The video shows a substantial surge of floodwater nearly reaching the walls and gate of Samantha Homes, Bago Gallery, Davao City.

According to the uploader, the floodwaters brought silt and debris as it passed through the area last night, causing inconvenience.

More than ten motorcycles and vehicles parked in the vicinity were swept away by the flood.

By almost 2:00 AM, the floodwaters had subsided.

The heavy rainfall last night contributed to flooding in various areas of Davao City.
