Marawi teacher goes home in coffin

DAVAO CITY — The remains of Mindanao State University-Marawi teacher Evangeline Amorin went home to her family in Barangay Clarin, Bansalan, Davao del Sur in a coffin, Wednesday morning.

Amorin, a physical education teacher of MUS-Marawi was among the four fatalities of the December 3 bombing nside DImaporo Gym inMarawi City.

Her family and a team from the Philippine National Police (PNP) brought her body from Iligan City to Davao del Sur.

The Bangsamoro Government has ensured that Amorin’s body will be transported smoothly and that it will reach his home.

Earlier on, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim promised that BARMM would help the families of those who died and were victims of the bombing.
