COTABATO CITY – The Ministry of Interior and Local Government (MILG) of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) on Tuesday turned over four units of brand-new police cars to the Philippine National Police (PNP) in the region.

Interior and Local Government Minister Naguib Sinarimbo said the purchase of the four police cars was funded by the Office of MP Raissa Jajurie and implemented through the MILG.

Sinarimbo said “the units were received by Police BGen. Allan Nobleza, Regional Director of the (PNP Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region) PRO-BAR and will be used by the newly activated Police Provincial Office of Maguindanao del Norte.”

“The Bangsamoro Government is committed to supporting the PNP to ensure that our people and our communities are protected so that peace may now be followed quickly by development and prosperity for our people,” Sinarimbo said.

Meanwhile, the PRO-BAR also received five units of police cars from the BARMM on May 10, 2021; five on Oct. 12, 2022; 11 on Dec. 27, 2022, and another four on March 22, this year.
