P100K reward for information on the ambush of Maguindanao logistics officer

DAVAO CITY — The Police Regional Office in the Bangsamoro region offers one hundred thousand pesos (Php100,000.00) reward money to anyone who can provide vital and concrete information that will lead to the identification and arrest of the suspect/s on the death of Christhia Angela Aragoncillo.

Police Brigadier General Prexy Tanggawohn, PRO BAR Regional Director in a statement said the PNP offers the reward “To anyone who can provide vital and concrete information.”

Aragoncillo, Logistics Management Officer of the Ministry of Social Services and Development – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MSSD-BARMM), and wounding of the other victim who is also an employee of the MSSD on April 17, 2024, at Barangay Semba Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte.

The PRO BAR extends our deepest condolences to the bereaved family of the victim.

“We stand in solidarity with the families of the victims throughout this difficult period. Hence, PRO BAR is fully committed to swiftly identifying and apprehending the perpetrator/s behind this incident,” Tanggawohn emphasized.

The Regional Director has also directed the Maguindanao del Norte Police Provincial Office to conduct a thorough investigation into the killing of Aragoncillo and orders the intensive manhunt operation against the perpetrator/s involved in this brutal crime.

The PNP is also appealing to the public to join forces with them and other government authorities in their pursuit to bring justice to the families of the victims.

“The cooperation and support of the community are valuable in solving this crime and ensuring the safety of our society,” he added.

Aragconcillo was on her way home with a colleague when they were ambushed a few kilometers away from their office.
