Philippines Football League gi-postpone na usab sa Mayo

ANG PHILIPPINES Football League (PFL) gi-postpone na pud og usab sa mga organizer tungod sa nagpadayong coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.

Sa ilang statement nga nadawat sa NewsLine niadtong Biyernes, Abril 3, ang Philippine Football Federation (PFF), ang tigpasiugda sa PFL, nag-ingon nga ilang i-postpone sa Mayo ang pagsugod sa 2020 season.

“The PFL resolved to push the start of the 2020 season to a tentative date set on the later part of May,” ang PFF nagkanayon sa ilang English nga statement.

Sa sayo pa, gi-postpone sa PFF ang pagsugod sa 2020 season ngadto sa Abril 18, pipila ka adlaw human sa gitakdang pagtapos sa enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) sa Luzon karong Abril 12.

Matud pa sa PFF, kini ilang gihimo aron sa paghatag og igong panahon sa mga magtatampo sa pagpangandam sa umaabot nga liga, kung madayon man gani o dili ang pagtapos sa ECQ.

Ang mga football club nga modula sa PFL naglakip sa defending champion Ceres Negros, Kaya Iloilo, Stallion Laguna, Mendiola, ug Global Makati.

Nakatakda usab nga moapil sa liga karong tuiga ang Azkals Developmental Team.

Ang PFF niawhag usab sa katawhan nga mag-amping sa ilang pakigbatok sa Covid-19 ug kanunay nga mokoopirar sa mga otoridad samtang ang nasod gipaubos sa state of emergency.

“The PFF urges everyone to observe best practices in combating the virus, cooperate with local and national authorities, and be safe and healthy during the on-going state of public health emergency in the country,” ingon sa PFF.
