Police files charges vs civilian who manuevered army truck

DAVAO CITY — The San Pedro Police today filed charges of reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide, multiple injuries and damage to properties against Crenenandy Rodriguez Cadiente, 44-year-old from Purok 12 St John Bucana, the civilian who drove KM450 assigned to Task Force Davao.

It can be recalled that on Sunday, December 24, two market goers died, three were injured and three cars were damaged when Cadiente suddenly drove the KM truck parked on Pichon St. At the Bankerohan Publuc Market here.

San Pedro Police Chief Major Marvin Hugos, identified the dead victims as Jamie Lopez Cole, 63-years-old from Km. 10 Barangay Cabantian Buhangin District, and 34-year-old Rocel Luna Haspe from Purok 15 Green St. Spring Village Barangay Ma-a.

Meanwhile, Teresita Pilapil Tangaro 45-years-old from Piapi Boulevard, Michael Baldoman Maghuyop 44-years-old from Brgy. Mandug and Mae Antoneth P. Anticamara 20-year-old from Purok 11 Sto. Nino, Brgy 76-A Bucana.

Currently, Tangaro is the only one left in the hospital.
The driver, PFC Patrick Trumata, got out to look at the back of the car after the troop came down to guard the market and the car did not stop because it was on standby.

There are reports that the suspect Crenenandy Rodriguez Cadiente is mentally challenged.

However, the San Pedro PNP is still waiting for the results from the Sother Philippines Medical Center.
